We already know 2016’s highest paying jobs, but what about the companies known for paying employees well?

America's Highest Paying Employers of 2016

It’s no surprise there are plenty of tech companies that land on Glassdoor’s list of highest paying employers, but consulting jobs are also paying top dollar. Dr. Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor Chief Economist says the Glassdoor report reinforces that high pay is tied to in-demand skills and higher education. “Salaries are sky-high at consulting companies due to ‘barriers of entry’ in this field, which refers to employers wanting top consultants to have personal contacts, reputations and specialized skills and knowledge. In technology, we continue to see unprecedented salaries as the war for talent is still very active, largely due to the ongoing shortage of highly skilled workers needed.”

Based on each company’s median total compensation, the list was compiled by looking at salary reports where employees shared base pay and other compensation information. With some companies offering six figures, it’s no wonder these are America’s highest paying employers.

Check out the companies offering the biggest paychecks in America according to Glassdoor.
