Adecco Government announces partnership with Los Angeles Mayor’s veterans’ initiative
10,000 veterans will gain employment from companies by 2017
BRADENTON, FL – Adecco Government recently partnered with the 10,000 Strong Hiring Initiative in the California region to offer a network of employers for local veterans.
Over the next three years, the 10,000 Strong Initiative plans to place over 10,000 veterans into gainful jobs benefiting their families, neighborhoods, and the economy. Through the partnership, Adecco Government will serve as a common ground for veterans transitioning back into civilian life. With more than 25% of the staff being veterans, Adecco Government will connect other veterans to supportive resources and jobs available for them. Adecco Government has a dedicated Veterans hiring program manager. He is a disabled veteran, who understands the issues faced by veterans returning to the workforce. “ We seek out veterans to place with companies that recognize the value of veteran employees,” said Ben Marich, Veterans Coordinator of Adecco Government.
Adecco’s Veterans program vows to help the initiative place the right candidates with veteran friendly companies, increasing veteran employment and helping those who have served the county.
