Are you a lover of math? Is crunching numbers your thing? If you’re a math whiz who wants to make bank, there are plenty of high paying math jobs out there.

PayScale, an online salary, benefits and compensation information company, released some data reporting the median salary for math majors is around $71,000, which is a nice increase from the average $58,600 for all college grads. While not all math jobs bring in the big bucks, there are some areas like data scientists and quantitative analysts that earn upwards of $100,000.

To determine high paying math jobs, PayScale looked at incomes of professionals who majored in math with 5-8 years experience. From there, the median salaries were ranked properly.
