Job growth is an important factor for many job seekers, and one that is still growing after the Great Recession. There are some cities that are rebounding well and some that aren’t but luckily, Forbes recently shared a list of the 10 top cities for job growth.

Top Places For Job Growth

Dominating the list were Florida cities. Six out of the 10 top cites are in the Sunshine state:  Naples ranked first; Cape Coral, third; Orlando, fourth; Ocala, fifth; Port St. Lucie, ninth; and North Port, 10th. This comes as surprising information as Florida was one of the hardest hit areas during the recession. It’s also becoming well-known for being one of the leading states with job creation and growth over the next few years.

While Florida leads the way, many jobs are lower wages. If you’re looking for high-paying, new employment opportunities look west. San Jose has a projected job growth rate of 3.8% being a headquarters for the booming high-tech industry.
